This morning’s WordLive from Scripture Union started with this:
“We see miracles where we are open to seeing them.”
This instantly brought to mind the delightful phrase from Abraham Joshua Heschel:
“I did not ask for success; I asked for wonder. And You gave it to me.”
There is a miracle in the routine and rhythm of life, if we would only look for it; there is a miracle in the spontaneous and unexpected, if we would only look for it.
Joy, rest, adrenalin, calm, energy, satisfaction, surprise…
…are all miraculous (or wondrous), if we are open to seeing it.
