50@50 – part one

Over the next five days I’m going to post some thoughts, quotations, observations, insights, nonsense that have occured to me in the lead up to my 50th birthday.

I”l post 10 a day.  They’re not prioritised, not deeply meaningful… just stuff that occurred to me.

1 – “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.”

Matthew 22:37 (ESV)

2 – Look for wonder in everything that you do.

3 – Every week has 168 hours of possibility.

4 – You can’t manage time, but you can manage your energy, effort and focus.

5 – Leadership is not a title – it’s an opportunity to serve, an attitude to live out.

6 –  Learning should be lifelong and intentional.

7 – If I can draw a problem, I can usually see the heart of the issue.

8 – Everything we do is a choice, so choose wisely.

9 – Always challenge the tyranny of the urgent.

10 – Curiosity is the key to creativity.
