Tackling the post-lunch slump

I’m a morning person.  No doubt about it, I’m a lark.

Typically my mornings are focussed, energetic and very productive.  By contrast, afternoons are not so good.  I seem to fight a constant battle against distraction, listlessness and fidgeting.

So I was intrigued by an article that I found at Lifehacker recently.  it was called:

“Restart your day at 2pm to stop procrastinating and build momentum in the afternoon”

OK, the title’s a bit of a mouthful, but I think that there’s a gem of an idea in it.  I’m not planning to take the ‘2pm’ bit too literally, but I’m going to experiment with clearing up the morning projects, paper, debris before lunch; then refreshing my to do list immediately after lunch.

Hopefully I can start the afternoon with a bang – just like in Edinburgh!
