Slowing to the speed of thought

It seems to me that our lives have

stimulation

So, maybe it’s time to rediscover the pleasure of a long walk. No shopping, no need for entertainment. Simply seeing what’s around us and rejoicing in chance encounters.

I suspect that the mind, like the feet, works at about three miles an hour. If this is so, then modern life is moving faster than the speed of thought, or thoughtfulness.
